Unsightly pimples and acne are one of the nightmares of being a teenager with hormonal riots. This is caused by increased activity of the sebaceous glands in the skin. Acne occurs when pustules or pus form in the pores of the skin, riddled with bacteria. Popping and squeezing them can make pimple or acne worse, because our nails and fingers also have a lot of germs that can contaminate the skin. It has recently been reported that the late Michael Jackson, has been suffering from severe acne and scarring, due to his cosmetic surgery. His doctor reported that he has been treating the famous (or infamous) face of the King of Pop, to prepare him for his comeback concert which was scheduled for this year. Michael Jackson’s doctor also dispelled rumors that his nose had come off and that Jackson had gone to the clinic to have it fixed. However, the doctor confirmed that Jackson has been concerned and self-conscious about his nose, due to his past experience of his family sometimes making fun of him for how big his nose was. However, it is interesting how normal it seems that the King of Pop can also have the same acne problems as anyone else.
Now there are many acne treatment procedures available to the public. One of the most effective and least painful treatments is laser surgery. However, laser surgery treatment is also the most expensive. The best thing about this is that acne scars are gone permanently, and sometimes with just one procedure. Another form of treatment is to make small incisions in the scar and inject collagen into it. This will allow the skin to expand, tightening it and making it smoother. It is also painful and sometimes requires local anesthesia.
