Vacation is a time to relax and get away from everyday life, maybe get up and go to work every day or go to school. Everyone goes on vacation at times in their life when they are just tired of everything, but what is a good vacation place to go? I’ve been to many places and enjoyed a few vacations, but two of my favorite getaway activities are taking a cruise and visiting Piegon Forge, Tennessee.
Cruises are good for the whole family or even for you and a friend to get away for a few days. When I went on my first cruise I was with my family and we went on a seven day cruise to Mexico. On the ship they have restaurants, pools, gym, bars and many other things to keep you busy and having fun all the time. During the cruise we visited several different places in Mexico, including Cozumel and Belize. In Cozumel we got off the boat and took a ferry to a private beach where you could go boating, snorkeling and many other things like swimming with stingrays, which is what I did. I also had the opportunity to swim with dolphins, which was really cool.
The other vacations that I really enjoyed were going to Piegon Forge, Tennessee. These are other vacations where you can take the whole family regardless of age. There are endless things to do in Peigon Forge, including theme parks, water parks, dixie stampede, going to museums and many more. When I went on vacation there, I went to a theme park and did a ride called “alpine slide”. That’s where you go up to the top of the mountain and you get on a little cart that has a bar in front of you to control your speed and you run with another person to the base of the mountain on a track. That was one of the funniest things I’ve ever done in my life and I would go back to Tennessee just to do it again.
So those are my favorite things to do during a vacation where you can get away and enjoy and I would recommend them to anyone because you can take your friends or family with you, but no matter what you remember just have fun.
